Lindsay Cohen
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Lindsay Cohen joined CBS 12 News in December 2005, coming full circle on a journalism career that spans nearly a decade. Lindsay is a Hollywood, Florida, native whose first taste of the news business came during a high school internship at the Sun-Sentinel. Since then, her work has aired on CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC, and on local television stations nationwide.
As a general assignment reporter, Lindsay has traveled the country, covering stories from the streets of Miami to the trenches of an army training base in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She has worked at Good Morning America, WNUR-FM News, and MTV News, and most recently at WNYT-TV in Albany, New York, where she was a reporter and anchor. Lindsay's three years in Albany took her from the halls of the state capitol, where she chased down politicians for answers, to the skies above New York, where she flew in an F-16 with the Air Force Thunderbirds.
Lindsay is thrilled to leave the icy winters of the northeast behind for her native sunny South Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering her college football team to victory and the occasional round of competitive Boggle with her family. Lindsay holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University in New York City and a bachelor's degree in communications from Northwestern University, in Evanston, Ill. She lives in West Palm Beach.
