Comments 0 | Recommend 0Suzanne Boyd is co-anchor of CBS 12 at 5pm and 5:30pm. She also anchors the 10pm newscast on WFLX FOX 29, which is produced by WPEC. Suzanne grew up in a farming family in Monticello, a small town outside of Tallahassee. In fact, Monticello is so small, it has no traffic lights, no movie theatre and only one major grocery story. So, after leaving high school, where Suzanne graduated with only 19 people, she decided to head off to the big town of Gainesville and the University of Florida. She got her bachelor of science degree in broadcast journalism in 1995, then got her first TV reporting job at SNN6 in Sarasota. Suzanne had always wanted to live in South Florida and finally got here in 1998 when she landed a reporting gig at CBS 12. She has won three Associated Press Awards for her reporting and helped launch the CBS 12 I-TEAM. Suzanne loves Gator football, crossword puzzles and running. Suzanne and her husband live in beautiful Delray Beach.
